Gorgeous antique inspired blouses by Lyell. I love, love this clothing line by Emma Fletcher. Some of these images come from this season, and some are from seasons past. It doesn't really matter (unless you are looking to purchase one) because all of the designs are timeless.

Sewing Green
This photo is what clinched the decision. I have a huge weakness for inspiration boards. I feel it is an art form unto itself.
The Purl Bee has some additional photos if you're wanting a peek inside.

Weekender Sunshine Top
You can find the directions for the variation to the Weekender Sunshine Top in the post following this one. Trudy from HotPatterns posted it to YouTube. The design is based on a high end design by Philip Lim. So far I'm really pleased with the HotPatterns that I've tried. I do find that they run larger than the other pattern companies. Check you measurements carefully against the measurements provided on the envelope and I think you'll be okay. I'm finding that I'm making one size smaller than what I'm used to. If you are a visual seamstress you may find that these patterns are skimpy on illustrations.

embellished t-shirt
The HotPatterns company has come up with some amazing tutorials on YouTube. They are taking their basic patterns and showing some interesting variations. Little tips, hints, and tricks. If you've got the time I highly recommend a look see. This t-shirt embellishment is the spider wick rose. I've actually saved you a trip to YouTube and you can find the tutorial in my next post. These roses are so fun, and very easy to make.
