I love this pattern. I don't generally make a pattern twice in the same season. Fickle girl that I am, once I've seen the pattern come together I am always anxious to start another project. The fabric is vintage (100% cotton) and it feels like silk. I barely had enough. In fact, I mixed the two prints to get the length I needed. I think it turned out great. More photos on my flickr.

This is truly gorgeous! I also didn't realize that was the same pattern as the yellow one, so very versatile.
It is so nice and fits you prfectly. I understand why have you made it twice!
I have seen the pattern. Have you made also the jacket? I am looking for a jacket to make for my winter here (that's like the spring weather in the "normal seasons places" and this one is so ncie.
Oh my, the colours are just delightful - sweet azure and murky olive. Lovely work here.
I really like the concept of the Summer of the Dress... spring down here in the southern hemisphere starts on Monday next week. I think I will pinch your concept and run with it for the next two seasons if you would like to pass the baton!
I love everything about this dress. It looks great on you. Well done.
You could make that dress a hundred times, in all sorts of fabrics, and you would never need another pattern. It is classically beautiful, and so very flattering.

Hey there,
I certainly looked at your versions before setting off on my own--it's always nice to know that patterns actually look good on real people. Thanks for sharing!
