I could just hug the crafter (crafters) that came up with the brilliant idea to use freezer paper as stencil tool. It doesn't move. It stays where you want, for as long as you want.
Just in case you've never tried freezer paper stenciling here is a great tutorial. Craftster also has some great info on this technique.

I love using freezer paper... but it takes SO LONG to cut out the shapes. i'm a little impatient.
