Simplicity 4077

One mens xxl dress shirt to girly blouse via this pattern. The pictures were taken in a vacant house this fall. I have a flickr link in my sidebar if you want to see more.
The skirt is made from vintage bark cloth. The pattern is my own. Just a simple a-line. This is the same pattern I use for the skirts I have on etsy.

On the cutting table... all the laundry I have to put away so I can start my new project.

I love it! I've got this pattern in my stash AND an XL men's flannel. I'm wondering if you ripped your entire shirt apart and just used the fabric, or if you kept some of the existing seams in place and used the pattern as a guide?

I try to use the existing buttonholes when it's possible. (not my favorite part of construction)
In this particular instance I could not use them and really just used the shirt for fabric.
